Keto Big Mac? Cheeseburger Casserole!

Today we are going to make ourselves a cheeseburger casserole. It's so easy and delicious to make. It tastes just like a Big Mac. Except, without the buns. So it's even better than a Big Mac.





ingredient list

3/4 lb 80/20% ground beef

1/2 chopped red onions

3 minced cloves garlic

1 1/2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive butter

dash of salt 1/2 tsp

dash of white pepper 1/4 tsp

dash of garlic powder 1/4 tsp

4 oz cream cheese

2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

4 medium eggs

4 slices of pepper jack cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 chopped vine tomatoes

1/4 chopped head iceberg lettuce (like big mac lettuce)

2 tbsp chunky relish

2 tbsp avocado mayo

2 tsp mustard

2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup



First, we are going to start caramelizing our onions. Into a heated cast iron or pan add in 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil. When butter and oil is hot enough we can add in our onions. When our onions get a little tender we can turn our fire down to medium and add in our minced garlic. I also added 1/2 tbsp butter so the garlic can infuse into the butter.


After our onions have been caramelized, We can add in our ground beef. Turn our fire up to high heat. When beef is brown add in our salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning. Mix and incorporate.


Take out an oven-safe casserole dish and add our meat and onions mixture. Level it evenly. In a mixing bowl, make sure our cream cheese is softened, Than, add in heavy whipping cream and eggs. Mix together well and pour over our ground beef. sprinkle some salt on top. Then, layer on our pepper jack cheese and cheddar cheese.


Make sure to preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. baking time may vary with your oven.


While our casserole is baking, we can take our lettuce and tomatoes and make a salad that will go on the top or the side of our cheeseburger casserole.


In a mixing bowl, add in our lettuce and tomatoes, chunky relish, avocado mayo, mustard, and sugar-free ketchup. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix up well and sit to aside.


After we finish baking our casserole we can take it out of the oven and let it cool down for 15 minutes. It is very hot.


Now that everything is ready. Plate our cheeseburger casserole and salad and enjoy this delicious keto Big Mac like casserole.
