Keto Nacho Supreme. Better than Taco Bell and everywhere else.
So. We have been at home for a few weeks now. Because of the big Quarantine of 2020. And, going out to eat isn't possible at the moment. But, we can still make delicious food at home. If you have a hankering for some delicious nacho supreme, similar to Taco Bell, but better. Because homemade is always better. Plus, if you are on keto or low carb diet try making this at your house. This only took me 30 minutes to make. So good. So delicious.
Ingredients List 1/4 bunch of cilantro chopped 1 green onion chopped 1/4 red onion chopped 2 minced cloves of garlic 1 vine tomato chopped 1 avocado 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar salt Sour cream 1 cup grated cheese 1/2 lb ground beef unsalted butter (Taco Seasoning) 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp cajun seasoning 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp paprika pinch of salt
(Tortilla Chips) Chicharrones aka Pork RInds (Nacho chip substitute) Step One Prep veggies and guacamole First, let's get all our veggies ready. We start by chopping our cilantro, green onions, red onions, and tomatoes. Put them aside. Mince 2 cloves of garlic. Take 1 avocado and smash them into guacamole by adding 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. You can use lemon or lime if you like. mix that thoroughly and set aside. Step Two Cheese I'm using freshly grated cheese that is from grass feed cows. Better nutrients for you when the cows are grass feed. Plus, when you grate the cheese yourself the cheese doesn't have chemicals that prevent the cheese from caking. Unlike pre-grated cheese that is packaged at the stores. The fewer the chemicals are the better. So, we are going to grate about a cup of cheese here. Step Three Pork Rinds Because we are on that low carb keto, we will be using pork rinds. (Chicharrones) Instead of tortilla chips. Pork rinds have zero carbs in them. Making them perfect for us Ketonians. I'm using a cast iron for presentation purposes. But, put our pork rinds on a dish and sprinkle our grated cheese on top. Set to aside and cook our beef. Step Four Ground beef You can use any type of ground meat if you like. But, I think beef is perfect. Heat up a skillet or frying pan and add about 2 tbsp unsalted butter. You may use oil if you don't have butter. Add in our minced garlic that we minced earlier. Wait until butter or oil is fragrant and add in our ground beef. Brown our meat for a bit then add in our Taco Seasoning. Mix thoroughly and make sure meat is fully cooked. Then pour on top of our pork rinds and cheese. Step Five Veggie and sour cream toppings Take our guacamole and sour cream and distribute them evenly on top of our pork rind, cheese, and meat. Sprinkle our tiny cube tomatoes. Then, our cilantro, red onions, and green onions. Making sure to evenly distribute. Now. Enjoy how delicious this dish is. So Fire. so good. You're welcome.
