Keto Low Carb Rice and Chicken Vietnamese Style! Com Ga Chien!

Ingredients for 4 boneless chicken thighs

Dry ingredients

1 tbsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp five spice powder

1/4 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp onion powder


wet ingredients

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp fish sauce

2 tbsp sesame seed oil

1 gram stevia sweetleaf natural sweetener

mix all together. Pour onto chicken and mix together.

marinade for at lease 2 hours in the fridge.

Ingredients for Cauliflower fried rice

1/2 head of cauliflower cut into florets. Use grater to grate into rice size. You can also use a blender/processor.

1/4 big red onion chopped

2-4 cloves of garlic minced (depending how much you love garlic)

1 tbsp coconut oil or oil of your choice

salt, pepper, garlic power to your taste

When pan frying cauliflower Rice. Heat frying pan to medium high heat. Add in oil. When oil is hot enough add in onion and garlic. Sate and lightly brown onion and garlic. Than, add in the cauliflower rice. Cook into tender and add in season to you taste.

Pan frying chicken thighs. Add 2 tbsp coconut oil to medium high heat. Wait until oil is hot enough. Than, add in the chicken thighs skin side down. Cook until skin is crispy and golden brown than flip. This way the skin will be crispy and deliciousness in you face. Make sure not under cook your chicken.

It might seem like a little bit of a process to make this rice. But, I believe this is a great alternative to regular grain rice. Especially, when you are trying to stay low carb and still have your rice fix.

This was so good thank you! I didn’t have stevia powder so I subbed with 15 drops of liquid stevia. For the cauliflower rice I added 2 tsps of tomato paste. So good!
